From simple RS232C connections with weigh scales, labeling machines and barcode reader multiplexers to complete field device networks such as Profibus DP, DeviceNet or ASi.

PLCs and SCADA PCs on a plant can linked via Industrial Ethernet, Profibus FMS or ControlNet.

Complete plants can be connected to the Internet via Ethernet to aid support and fault finding or dial-up networks created. The plant can even be configured to send the maintenance team a mobile text message or email to alert them that a fault has developed.
